All products are individually handled and handcrafted in studio by Anita Sikma. Every piece is SOLID, we do not fill or plate material. Each design is a reflection of the designers practice and technique with acute attention to detail, no two pieces are alike. When you’re not wearing your pieces, keep them stored in a jewelry box and out of sunlight and humidity. We advise against using chemical cleaning solutions, as they can diminish the lustre of your pieces and alter the intended appearance of the design. Instead, we recommend using gentle cleaning methods to maintain the beauty of your jewelry.

Sterling silver will naturally patina over time, this sort of tarnishing can be easily removed with a non abrasive detergent and brush or soft polishing cloth. This method can also be applied to maintain your custom designed gold pieces, let’s keep your gems clean and bright! If you need a little extra TLC, please email me as I do offer complimentary cleaning services with custom designed pieces.

Jewelry..especially when worn on your hands need regular maintenance. If we’ve made a custom piece together, thats looking a little dull or has stones settings and you are curious about them needing re-tipping? Yes, I said re-tipping, setting tips can wear down over time and no one wants to loose a stone! Am I right? I recommend that all my custom clientele come in for a complimentary cleaning ever year! I will then check your stones and settings to asses if additional services are requited. If you can’t check in with me, check in with a trusted goldsmith to service and offer advice! Every persons wear and tear varies, however it is the clients responsibility to be mindfully cautious and contact the designer when re-tipping is necessary. We are not responsible for the losses of stones due to improper care, regular maintenance is paramount, especially with prong settings. We offer a range of services to ensure your stones stay secure for years to come.
